Sam Smith

Co-Founder & CEO, The SuperScalers

Sam Smith is Co-Founder and CEO of The SuperScalers and former CEO of finnCap (now Cavendish Financial), one of the UK's leading investment banks for growth companies.

After joining the business at an early stage, Sam spent more than two decades helping build finnCap into a £50m+ revenue business, leading the company through significant growth before successfully listing it on the London Stock Exchange in 2018.

Having experienced first-hand the challenges of scaling a business in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Sam became increasingly passionate about supporting underrepresented founders and encouraging more women to build businesses of significant scale.

She co-founded The SuperScalers to increase the number of female-founded businesses reaching £50m+ revenue and beyond. Through the community, she works closely with ambitious founders to help them think bigger, scale faster and learn from those who have successfully navigated the journey before them.

Rosaleen Blair CBE

Co-Founder & Chair, The SuperScalers

Rosaleen Blair CBE is Co-Founder and Chair of The SuperScalers and Founder and Chair of AMS, a global workforce solutions business she built from start-up into an international market leader.

Over more than two decades as CEO, Rosaleen led AMS through significant international growth, multiple private equity partnerships and changing market conditions, establishing the business as one of the leading companies in its sector.

Alongside her role at AMS, Rosaleen is an active investor, mentor and adviser to entrepreneurs and high-growth businesses. She co-founded The SuperScalers to help more female founders scale with confidence, think bigger and build businesses of significant size, influence and impact.

Oli Barrett MBE

Co-Founder, The SuperScalers

Oli Barrett MBE is Co-Founder of The SuperScalers,as well as an entrepreneur, investor and one of the UK's best-known connectors of people, ideas and opportunities.

He has founded and co-founded a number of successful initiatives supporting entrepreneurship and innovation, including StartUp Britain, Tenner and Clean and Cool. He is also an active investor and adviser, with interests in businesses including Calm and Troubadour Theatres, and has supported countless founders through his work across the UK startup ecosystem.

At The SuperScalers, Oli helps connect founders to the networks, opportunities and relationships that can accelerate growth and unlock new possibilities at every stage of the scaling journey.

Ellie Slaght

COO, The SuperScalers

Ellie Slaght is COO at The SuperScalers and is responsible for the delivery and growth of the community, programmes, partnerships and founder experience.

With more than a decade of experience supporting startups and scaleups, Ellie has worked with hundreds of founders through accelerator programmes, events and high-growth ecosystems. Prior to joining The SuperScalers, she spent almost nine years at Founders Factory, helping design and deliver programmes for ambitious founders across multiple sectors.

At The SuperScalers, Ellie works closely with founders, partners and mentors to create valuable connections, practical support and a trusted community for female entrepreneurs scaling their businesses.
